A Good monday

yes todae’s mondae’s wad i considered relatively ok or relac 4 a normal sch dae. ok la all mondaes on my timetable r quite relac. only impt thing is econs lecture. no maths but got that malay history teacher. so how? shiok la. then todae all chinese ao pplez haf to go chinatown or cow car water for chinese immersion (i think). they sae go then go lor. actually the trip not too bad. i quite enjoy. just didn’t catch any ball that chinese teacher was saying. chinese teacher not bad leh...buy us all the bing tang hu lu (ice sweet gourd). not bad leh. my first time eating it. sua ku right? anyways its preserved plum (in china they sell wif iced sugar so its supposed to b crispy on the outside becoz of the ice on the outside, n soft in the inside of the plum)...its a very unique taste...abit like sweet cherry. n teacher also buy 4 us the muah chee. so tummy feel shiok shiok. overall the chinatown experience was gd. gd stuffz. :)

n todae while talking to gilbert lee awhile then he ask me whether i’m 100% singaporean. i sae of course la. (its like asking the uncle at the coffee shop whether coffee shop can see chio bu or not. same thing la.) then mr gilbert lee sae really meh?..like i dong sound local leh... more like INDONESIAN. ahyo. indonesian leh. i’ve decided to take this as a complement. song bo INDONESIAN. actually gilbert lee’s not alone....apriyanto b4 got ask me whether i’m peranakan. this boy has an exotic voice. its like telling a filipino maid she look like ms venezuela.

ok bad example. ignore the last analogy. hope tmw will b as slack as todae...n tmw will b meeting art teacher mr lee (another mr lee. different from gilbert lee. gilbert lee’s my civic tutor) regarding my A level art coursework. Hmmm....WELL. haven done any thinking for coursework yet so i’ll just show him the work i’ve done so far, that is, the development of ideas for my solo exhibition paintings. n i’m quite sure of doing painting for a level art (yes we can choose to do anything ranging from sculpture to installation art to graphic design.) so perhaps after seeing my stuff he’ll b able to give some comments n steer me into discovering exactly what i’ll b looking for. looking forward to it.

i’m currently re-reading mario puzo’s The Sicilian. a masterpiece worthy to b a literary classic. the plot is superb yet complex n puzo does a superfluous job in giving atmosphere to the descriptives. thruout the book there’s this rustic, village countryside, timeless air to it n it adds rigour to the already superb narratives. he’s also a master at giving his characters depth....so much so that u seem to delve into the psyche of the various pple in the epic, n u find urself anticipating wad the pple wd do next. n u find urself telling urself, “no so-n-so won’t do this. its not like him, he’s more likely to....” n puzo engages u. there’s abit of everything in this book. romance, history, action, treachery....a very inspiring book. one of the better novels i’ve read. mario puzo’s also the author to another famous book called the Godfather. this one i’m sure u all have heard this one. but somehow i like The Sicilian better.
