on dec 11 to 14, me and sean went for the youth in the spirit seminar.
It was in a word, a perfect camp. There was nothing about it i could have changed. It was in a sense, perfect in its imperfections. My year had been sortta dry spell in terms of my spiritual life.
This camp not only filled my spiritual cup. I also encountered God in a very personal and special way. In ways i never expected and imagined. It was a feeling of bliss and happiness. Everything in the world seemed to melt away at the encounter. I had cried tears of remorse and joy at the same time, and I had not expected it.
I leave the camp having a much more clearer idea of my faith, and my relationship with God. And though these feelings of spiritual high will go away, I have decided to put my foot on faith, a substance of things we hope for, a belief in things that cannot be seen.
And the encouraging part is that i have these very special people to share this journey with. A journey that seems like walking with your eyes open in the dark.
I feel liberated!
