Cantabile sunday
if talentine served as food for the heart, cantabile ’06 nourished the soul.
met the class guys earlier at 5.30, orchard mrt first. then from there decide where to go for dinner. but i arrived early, so went to borders to browse a picture book on tibet. beautiful n mystical land.... after dat found out that this qing lun also arrive early n both of us went to borders, without knowing the other was there haha....til we found out later haha
after jon arrived, me n lun went to join him lor. both of us dam shocked to find jon dressed in collar long sleeved t wif black pants. wtf?!!! this jon full of surprises. after dinner at mcdonalds taka, went to kino slack awhile where i was given n insight into the world of manga n japanese martial arts. like japan hour.
arrived at acs barker road right on time. impressive campus.... the mini concert hall provided the perfect backdrop for the pieces. now i noe y nj choir got the gold award at verona. their performance of ave verum corpus, for eg, was really impressive. i didn’t really understood the words, but it kinda reminded me of a still lake under a clear night sky.... n u can add misty mountains in the distance too if u like. i haf funny imagination i noe. but it was both poignant n bittersweet at the same time, if u noe wad i mean..
autumn leaves was also another gd song....n well sung too. to all nj choir members reading dis, thanx for all the effort in making this concert so satisfying. well done!! u pple haf alot to b proud of. oh n did i tell u all that my mother used to b in nj choir too?
felt so relaxed after dat. even night walk to newton mrt felt gd....will sum up wif a painting...
